Quality Control to Quality Assurance:
Improving Software Quality by Improving the Process

As we close the millennium, software development organizations have begun to move from the traditional practice of building applications first and checking the quality of these applications last to a more proactive approach of ensuring that quality is built into the application earlier in the development process. Emerging technologies are assisting in this movement by quantifying and managing code quality and construction. The presentation will discuss how this new approach to software quality has had tremendous effects on the way companies approach the quality of their software assets.
