About the SEPG 2000 Conference: "2000 Ways to Make Software Better"

Software Engineering Process Group Conference
March 20-23, 2000
Washington State Convention and Trade Center
Seattle, Washington

SEPG 2000, the 12th Software Engineering Process Group Conference, is the premier international conference and exposition for software process professionals. It is sponsored by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and hosted by the Seattle Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN). This four-day event brings together international representatives from government, industry, and academia for a truly global perspective on software process improvement (SPI) activities and results.

SEPG 2000 focuses on the practical advantages of software process improvement activities, the ways in which we can make software better than ever. The conference will address experiences and developments that ensure continued process improvement over the long term, especially the benefits of the cultural, financial, and technical changes occurring in organizations that have made the process improvement commitment. The conference will provide a broad range of presentations necessary to help practitioners establish and maintain a continuous improvement effort, regardless of their specific industries or levels of experience.

A panel of three conference attendees from the area will present selected highlights.
