Program: Avoiding Process Improvement
Pitfalls (What NOT to do!)
Many IT organizations pursue a variety of poor techniques and approaches while trying to achieve their Process Improvement objectives. Stumbling on these "pitfalls" of Process Improvement can not only prevent your organization from achieving your desired improvement, but can also impact your organization well beyond the obvious disappointment.
Steve Huck, PMP, (Quality Improvement and Optimization Lead - Slalom Consulting) explores common Process Improvement “pitfalls” and discusses how these approaches can actually destroy the value your IT organization is providing to your business. Steve will also discuss preventative techniques and approaches including real world guidance of how to manage your Process Improvement sponsor.

He has assumed a variety of leadership roles within many large scale model-based IT development and service management Process Improvement implementations since 2000.
