CMM-based appraisals are now an integral part of Software Process Improvement ( SPI) initiatives in several organizations. Panelists from Advanced Information Services Inc., Motorola, and Tellabs will describe what happened to their SPI efforts after the appraisal. The presentations will provide answers to frequently asked questions regarding appraisals:
- How accurate are the appraisals?
Do they identify significant problem areas?
