Carol Kubicki, Motorola, Inc.Carol will introduce the P-CMM and share Motorolas experience with this model. In particular, she has been the project manager for a pilot assessment and evaluation of the P-CMM. Some of the lessons learned that she will share include:

- The role of the Human Resources organization in the P-CMM activities
- The need for People metrics
- Early sources of resistance to the P-CMM
- Challenges of scope and scale

Jolanta Zwirek, McDonalds CorporationJolanta will describe McDonalds experiences with developing the capability of an Information Services organization. She will share some of the findings of an opinion survey taken before applying the P-CMM, and will present how McDonalds has since used the P-CMM to improve career development activities and cultivate a participitory culture.
Carol Kubicki, Motorola, Inc.Carol Kubicki is a registered Organizational development Professional (RODP) and is presently employed by the Motorola Cellular Infrastructure Group in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In her present role as an internal organization development consultant, Carol brings the two worlds of people and process together to move client organizations to higher levels of performance.
Carols research interests include organizational culture and innovation in workforce practices. She will receive her Masters degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University in 1998. As an active leader in the professional community, Carol serves as a board member for the Chicago Organization Development Institute Chapter (CODIC). In 1993 she served as a member of the board for SAGE: The System Administrators Guild. She is also a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Jolanta Zwirek, McDonalds CorporationJolanta is presently employed by McDonald's Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois. In her present role as Department Director of Information Services, Jolanta is responsible for Human Resources and Service Delivery. Service Delivery includes Data Center and Help Desk Operations as well as Technical Services. Jolanta has an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and is a member of The Research Board - Human Resources Management Group.
